Job Description Full Stack Developer

CreditMitra | Hyderabad (Gachibowli) / Bangalore (HSR Layout) | Full-Time | In-Office 5 days About CreditMitra CreditMitra is a rapidly expanding fintech company in the NBFC space. The company is in a high-growth phase, opening new offices, launching an iOS app, and re-augmenting its engineering team. CTO is based in Hyderabad. The team is scaling fast and looking for strong full-stack developers who can hit the ground running. The Role You will be a full-stack developer with a heavy backend focus (70% backend, 30% frontend). You’ll work on building and scaling CreditMitra’s core platform — developing scalable web applications, designing robust backend systems, building responsive user interfaces, and optimising database performance. This is a hands-on, high-output role where you’re expected to write clean, secure, production-ready code from day one.

What You’ll Do

• Develop and maintain scalable web applications using Next.js and NestJS
• Build responsive, high-performance user interfaces using Tailwind CSS
• Design and optimise database schemas and queries using PostgreSQL and Prisma ORM
• Build and integrate robust backend services, APIs, and third-party integrations
• Write clean, secure, and maintainable code across frontend and backend systems
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and manage code repositories using Git Troubleshoot, debug, and enhance application performance and scalability Contribute to architecture decisions and ensure best practices across the codebase

Must-Haves

• 3–5 years of professional experience in full-stack development (up to 6 years for exceptional candidates)
• Strong expertise in TypeScript, JavaScript, React.js, Next.js, Node.js, and NestJS
• Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL and Prisma ORM
• Solid understanding of REST APIs, responsive design, and modern development practices
• Strong backend integration experience — this is a 70% backend role
• Clean, secure coding practices with attention to scalability and maintainability
• Clear communication skills — must be able to articulate technical decisions and collaborate effectively
• Ability to work from the Hyderabad (Gachibowli) or Bangalore (HSR Layout) office 5 days a week

Nice-to-Have

• E-commerce or financial services / NBFC domain experience — strong plus Experience working at a fintech startup or product company
• Familiarity with lending platforms, payment systems, or credit products
• Experience with mobile app backends (iOS app launch in progress)
