Full Stack Engineer

We are looking for our first core engineering hire — a technical partner who has been in the trenches of building something from scratch and can help us go from 0 to 1 across web, mobile, and AI-driven product surfaces.

Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Full Stack Engineer role based in Mumbai. The Full Stack Engineer will design, develop, and maintain end-to-end web applications, working across both front-end and back-end components. Daily responsibilities include implementing responsive user interfaces, building and optimizing APIs, integrating databases, and ensuring application performance, security, and scalability. The role involves collaborating with consultants and business stakeholders to translate financial and operational requirements into technical solutions, as well as participating in code reviews, testing, and continuous improvement of the technology stack. The engineer will also contribute to technical documentation, deployment processes, and best practices to support reliable, maintainable systems.

Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in Full-Stack Development and general Software Development practices, including object-oriented programming, testing, and version control (e.g., Git).
• Hands-on experience with Front-End Development, including modern JavaScript frameworks and Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) for responsive, accessible user interfaces.
• Solid background in Back-End Web Development, including RESTful API design, server-side frameworks, and database integration (SQL and/or NoSQL).
• Ability to translate business and financial requirements into technical solutions in a collaborative, cross-functional environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Familiarity with secure coding standards, performance optimization, and deployment on cloud or on-premise infrastructure.
• Strong problem-solving skills, clear written and verbal communication, and willingness to learn domain concepts in financial consulting.
• Experience working in a consulting, financial services, or enterprise environment is an advantage.
