Full-Stack Engineer – QuickSight & AWS Serverless (Planner Tools)

Company Description : At YAE Services, we help businesses build smart, scalable technology, from Odoo ERP and Zoho Creator apps to fractional CTO services for startups and growing organizations. We're now looking for an ML Engineer to turn notebook work into production pipelines that run every day without anyone touching them.

What you'll build

You'll own everything the planner sees and touches:

• Control tower dashboard (Amazon QuickSight): inventory position, cover projection, detected spikes and the recommendation queue, all in one view.
• Approval workflow: a queue with filtering and sorting, a detail view for each recommendation, quantity adjustment, bulk approve, and rejection reason codes.
• Writeback path: API Gateway and Lambda behind the dashboard, writing to an auditable decisions table.
• Access control: separate approver roles and authentication.
• S3 export job: runs on a schedule and writes a manifest and a completion marker. It's idempotent, so a re-run can never double-write approved recommendations to the client.
• Alerting: SNS notifications and the rules that trigger them.
• UAT with planners: you'll sit with the people using the tool and turn their feedback around quickly.

What you'll bring

• 5+ years of full-stack development, with strong JavaScript or TypeScript and Python
• Advanced Amazon QuickSight: datasets, SPICE, embedding and writeback patterns
• AWS serverless development: Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB or RDS, Step Functions
• Front-end skills for internal operational tools, where clarity and speed matter more than visual polish
• A solid grasp of idempotency and audit trails in workflows whose output has financial consequences

Nice to have

• You've built an approval or exception-management workflow before
• React experience for embedded or custom interfaces
• Experience building for operational users whose time is scarce
