About this role
Full-Stack Developer (Multi-Project) — Contract
Remote · Immediate Start Engagement: Independent contractor / freelance
Duration: Initial 3–6 months, extendable based on delivery
Location: Remote
Availability: Immediate About the Role We run multiple products and client projects in parallel — mobile apps, web portals, and the backend and cloud infrastructure behind them. We need a versatile full-stack developer who can move between these projects, pick up an unfamiliar codebase quickly, and ship reliably without a lot of hand-holding. This role is about
range and reliability . You should be genuinely comfortable across mobile, web, and backend — not just able to list the technologies, but able to land production work in each. Context-switching between projects is part of the job, so the ability to ramp up fast and keep code clean for the next person matters as much as raw output. You'll work directly with product and engineering leads across both our internal product and client-facing work in healthcare. We move fast and ship. What You’ll Do • Build and maintain cross-platform mobile apps in Flutter and web frontends in React.js. • Develop and maintain backend services and APIs in Node.js. • Model, query, and optimize data in MongoDB; work with Firebase / Firestore where used. • Deploy, monitor, and maintain applications on GCP and/or AWS. • Move between multiple projects as priorities shift — picking up existing codebases and shipping within them quickly. • Integrate third-party and internal APIs; handle secure authentication and sensitive data responsibly. • Write clean, documented, maintainable code under Git-based workflows so others can pick up your work. • Collaborate with product and engineering to scope work, flag risks early, and deliver against agreed outcomes. Must-Have Skills • 3–5 years of professional full-stack development experience, with production work shipped across both frontend and backend. • Flutter — building and shipping cross-platform mobile apps. • React.js — building production web frontends. • Node.js — building backend services and REST APIs. • MongoDB — schema design, aggregation, and query optimization. • Firebase / Firestore — working with its data structures and services. • GCP and/or AWS — deploying and maintaining applications in the cloud. • Strong Git-based workflow discipline. Nice to Have • Experience working on healthcare or other regulated applications (awareness of secure data handling, PHI, HIPAA). • Comfort working across multiple concurrent projects or as part of an agency / services team. • CI/CD experience (GitHub Actions, Cloud Build, or similar). • Familiarity with offline-first patterns and API design for unreliable networks. How We Work • Outcome-driven, not hours-driven — we care about what ships and that it holds up. • Async-first with focused sync check-ins; reasonable timezone overlap is a plus. • Fast feedback loops with direct access to the people making product decisions. A short note on your full-stack experience, calling out which parts of this stack you’re strongest and weakest in (honesty scores well here). 2. A GitHub / portfolio link and links to anything you’ve shipped (web or mobile). 3. Your CV or LinkedIn profile, your contract rate, and earliest start date.
- Note: We’re reviewing individual contractors only — no agencies or submissions on behalf of others. Only complete email applications will be processed.
