Software Engineer

Position Title: Software Engineer — React Microfrontend Role Summary

• We are seeking a Software Engineer (2–4 years) to join a team building React microfrontend modules as part of a platform migration initiative.
• You will implement features within established module remotes, work within the shared design system, and grow your skills under the guidance of Senior Engineers and the Lead.
• This is a strong opportunity to gain hands-on experience with modern microfrontend architecture in a structured, well- defined codebase.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintain UI features within independently deployed React module remotes following established patterns and architecture guidelines.
• Use the shared design system (component library, Tailwind CSS) to implement consistent, accessible interfaces.
• Write clean, well-structured TypeScript with appropriate test coverage using team-standard testing frameworks.
• Integrate with backend APIs, handling data fetching, loading states, and error boundaries correctly.
• Contribute to Storybook by documenting components and module states as features are built.
• Participate in code reviews — both receiving feedback and reviewing
• Raise blockers and questions early, communicating progress clearly within agile ceremonies (standups, planning, retrospectives).
• Continuously improve understanding of microfrontend patterns, Webpack Module Federation, and frontend performance.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 2–4 years of professional software development experience.
• Solid working knowledge of React and TypeScript — functional components, hooks, props, and basic state management.
• Familiarity with Tailwind CSS or equivalent utility-first CSS framework.
• Understanding of component-based UI development and consuming design systems or component libraries.
• Experience integrating frontend applications with RESTful APIs.
• Basic familiarity with Webpack or modern frontend build tooling.
• Comfortable working in a team codebase — git workflows, pull requests, and code reviews.
• Eagerness to learn architectural patterns (microfrontends, monorepos, Module Federation) in a structured environment.

Note: Microfrontend and Module Federation experience is not expected at this level — you will be onboarded into established patterns. Strong React and TypeScript fundamentals are the priority. Nice to Have (Preferred)

• Exposure to monorepo tooling (npm workspaces, Turborepo, Nx).
• Any experience with Storybook or component documentation.
• Familiarity with testing frameworks (Jest, React Testing Library).
• Understanding of CI/CD concepts and independent deployment pipelines.
• Experience or academic exposure to .NET or backend API development.
