Build the product backbone. Own the platform improvements and API integrations that differentiate the Bigfix repair platform. Bigfix runs its merchant, servicer and customer experience on a single platform. As a Full Stack Developer, youll own meaningful chunks of that platform end to end - shipping features, integrating with OEM and partner APIs, and keeping the experience fast and reliable as the business scales.
Responsibilities
- Build and improve the merchant platform and admin/operations UI.
- Design and build API integrations with OEMs, service partners and third-party tools.
- Optimize performance across the stack and fix bugs reported by operations and users.
- Participate in code reviews and help shape engineering practices as the team grows.
- Work directly with product, operations and founders to translate real operational problems into shipped features.
Requirements
- Solid experience across a modern JavaScript/TypeScript stack (React or similar on the frontend, Node.js/Python or similar on the backend).
- Comfortable designing and consuming REST APIs, and working with relational databases.
- Git-based workflow experience and ability to write clean, maintainable code.
- Strong problem-solving skills and comfort working in a fast-moving startup environment with direct ownership.
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
