Full Stack Developer | Python & Frappe

Location: Mangalore / Udupi, Karnataka Experience: 2 to 5 years Job Type: Full-time Work Mode: Mostly remote, with occasional office or client visits ERPfied is looking for a smart, hands-on Python + Frappe Developer to join our growing team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building real-world business applications, solving practical problems, and working in a fast-moving startup environment. You should be comfortable writing code, debugging issues, learning quickly, and using modern tools, including AI, to improve the way software is built. At ERPfied, your work will not be limited to writing code from a ticket. You will work closely with product, finance, audit, implementation, and client-facing teams to build practical solutions that are used by real businesses every day. What you’ll work on

• Build and customize applications using Python and the Frappe Framework.
• Develop features, forms, workflows, reports, dashboards, print formats, and integrations.
• Debug and fix functional, technical, and performance-related issues.
• Support day-to-day product enhancements and client-specific customizations.
• Work on role permissions, validations, scripts, patches, fixtures, and configuration changes.
• Handle data-related tasks such as imports, exports, corrections, and basic migration support.
• Work with APIs and third-party integrations where required.
• Use Git for branching, commits, reviews, merges, and deployment-ready code movement.
• Support quality and production environments with proper discipline and ownership.
• Test your own work before handover and document important changes clearly.
• Use AI tools responsibly for development, debugging, testing, documentation, and faster SDLC execution.

What we’re looking for

• 2 to 4 years of hands-on experience in Python development.
• Practical experience with the Frappe Framework.
• Good understanding of JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and web application basics.
• Comfortable working with databases, queries, APIs, and backend logic.
• Good understanding of Git and version control workflows.
• Basic comfort with Linux commands, logs, and troubleshooting.
• Ability to debug issues independently and think through root causes.
• Willingness to understand business processes, not just technical requirements.
• Clear communication and the ability to explain issues in simple terms.
• Ownership mindset: someone who can take a task, follow through, and close it properly.

Good to have

• Experience with SaaS products or business applications.
• Exposure to accounting, finance, audit, school operations, or workflow-based systems.
• Experience with reports, print formats, role permissions, and custom scripts.
• Comfort with remote work tools, issue trackers, documentation, and AI-assisted development.
• Ability to interact with clients or internal users when needed to understand the problem better.
