Job Description Cognizant is looking for a highly skilled and passionate Full Stack Developer to join our innovative technology team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining both frontend and backend components of enterprise applications. The candidate should have experience working across the complete software development lifecycle and possess strong knowledge of modern web technologies, databases, APIs, and cloud-based solutions. As a Full Stack Developer, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams including business analysts, UI/UX designers, backend developers, QA engineers, and DevOps professionals to deliver high-quality software solutions. You will play a critical role in developing scalable applications, improving system performance, and ensuring an excellent user experience. This role requires strong technical expertise, excellent problem-solving abilities, and the capability to work in a fast-paced Agile environment. Key Responsibilities Application Development

• Design, develop, and maintain both frontend and backend components of web applications.
• Build scalable, secure, and high-performance software solutions.
• Develop reusable and maintainable code following coding standards and best practices.
• Participate in software architecture and design discussions.
• Implement responsive and user-friendly interfaces. Frontend Development
• Create interactive user interfaces using modern frontend frameworks.
• Convert UI/UX designs into functional web pages.
• Ensure cross-browser compatibility and responsive design.
• Optimize applications for speed and performance.
• Improve accessibility and user experience standards. Backend Development
• Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and web services.
• Implement business logic and server-side functionality.
• Integrate databases, third-party services, and enterprise systems.
• Ensure application security and data protection.
• Optimize backend performance and scalability. Database Management
• Design and maintain database structures.
• Write optimized SQL queries, stored procedures, and functions.
• Perform database tuning and performance optimization.
• Ensure data integrity, security, and backup procedures. Testing & Quality Assurance
• Write unit and integration tests.
• Participate in code reviews and peer reviews.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve software defects.
• Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT). Collaboration & Documentation
• Work closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning and retrospectives.
• Prepare technical documentation and system design documents.
• Mentor junior developers when required.
