At CellStrat, we build two things: → End-to-end AI engineering solutions for US-based enterprise clients → CellAssist — our Voice AI platform for Indian healthcare (AI receptionists, patient triage, clinic automation) This role sits primarily on a live US client project (80%), with meaningful contribution to CellAssist (20%). You will own real systems, talk directly to clients, and be expected to figure things out. ——

What you'll actually do: • Design and build backend services in Python and FastAPI — from architecture to production • Build production-grade multi-agent pipelines, MCP server integrations, and custom AI tooling from first principles • Own a feature end-to-end: understand it, design it, build it, debug it, deploy it • Contribute to React/Next.js frontend when the situation calls for it • Join client calls (night IST) and represent engineering with clarity ——

You're a strong fit if you have: ✅ Solid async Python and FastAPI — you understand why things are structured the way they are ✅ Experience building AI systems beyond RAG wrappers — agent skills, tool calling, MCP servers, LLM pipelines with deterministic logic ✅ Real systems design instincts: service boundaries, error handling, observability, failure modes ✅ Shipped something with real users and real infrastructure — not internal tooling or tutorials ✅ Working-level React/Next.js — enough to own UI changes and debug across the stack ✅ Client-facing communication skills — you ask good questions and push back when something doesn't make sense ——
