Fulfillment-Engineer

Key missions of the position:

• To ensure efficient fulfillment operations by improving supplier delivery performance, material availability, and adherence to production schedules
• To drive On-Time Delivery (OTD) and On-Time Payment/Promise (OTP) performance by proactively managing purchase orders and supplier coordination
• To maintain optimal inventory levels aligned with business objectives while minimizing overdue and delayed purchase orders
• To support uninterrupted production by identifying and resolving material-related constraints in a timely manner
• To enhance overall supply chain efficiency through effective coordination with suppliers, production, and internal stakeholders

Main responsibilities:

Fulfillment Planning & Coordination

• Plan, direct, and coordinate activities related to purchasing and distribution of raw materials, finished goods, and supplies to ensure seamless support for production and plant operations
• Coordinate scheduling activities with suppliers to ensure timely material flow aligned with production requirements and delivery commitments

Supplier Performance & Delivery Management

• Develop and implement procedures aimed at improving supplier On-Time Delivery (OTD) and overall fulfillment performance
• Interface with suppliers, purchasing, and quality teams to ensure realistic delivery schedules and adherence to plant requirements
• Communicate material status updates and proactively highlight potential risks impacting production timelines to relevant stakeholders

Material Availability & Issue Resolution

• Monitor material availability and proactively address shortages in coordination with production and supply chain teams to avoid disruptions
• Troubleshoot material-related issues by identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions to ensure continuity in operations.

Production Interface & Shop Coordination

• Act as a key interface between PPC team, Warehouse team and shop floor teams to prioritize workloads and ensure fulfillment of customer requirements
• Collaborate with engineering and production supervision to align material planning with production schedules and operational constraints

Systems & Process Governance

• Define and improve measurement systems related to fulfillment performance, inventory levels, and scheduling effectiveness
• Ensure proper utilization of ERP systems for tracking purchase orders, inventory, and material movement
• Drive standardization of material management processes across suppliers and internal teams

Supplier Support

• Provide training and guidance to suppliers on material procedures and fulfillment processes to ensure consistency and compliance
• Support continuous improvement initiatives by working closely with suppliers to enhance delivery reliability and process efficiency
