FUEL CELL ENGINEER

Hypace is looking for an experienced fuel cell engineer working in the domain of electrochemistry, research and product development. The engineer works closely with technical team to create, structure, and implement the next fuel cell based system from scratch.

Responsibilities

• Single cell/Short stack testing and performance evaluation
• Validate design of fuel cells, fuel cell components, or fuel cell systems. Fabricate prototypes of fuel cell components, assemblies, stacks, or systems.
• Identify or define mobility and system integration challenges for fuel cell powertrain.
• Write technical reports or proposals related to engineering projects. Read current literature, attend meetings or conferences, or talk with colleagues to stay abreast of new technology or competitive products. Integrate electric drive subsystems with other mobility systems to optimize performance or mitigate faults.
• Design or implement fuel cell testing or development programs. Characterize component or fuel cell performances by generating operating maps, defining operating conditions, identifying design refinements, or executing durability assessments.
• Conduct fuel cell testing projects, using fuel cell test stations, analytical instruments, or electrochemical diagnostics, such as cyclic voltammetry or impedance spectroscopy.
• Modeling of single cell or channel using CFD software Minimum

Qualifications

B.Tech in Chemical Engineering/Mechanical Engineering

1-4 years of working experience in fast paced start-up/research working in electrochemistry.

Demonstrated credibility and integrity in solving technical problems and analysis of data for product development.
