About The Role We are seeking a motivated Frontend Developer Intern to join our dynamic team remotely. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in building and maintaining user-centric interfaces for AI-driven applications in the AgeTech space. As a Frontend Developer Intern at Careflick, you will be instrumental in developing scalable, responsive, and accessible frontend components. You will work closely with our backend developers and UI/UX designers to create seamless user experiences that support older adults and caregivers. Qualifications

• Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field.
• Hands-on experience with React.js and TypeScript through academic projects, internships, freelance work, or personal initiatives.
• Fundamental understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and responsive design principles.
• Basic familiarity with REST API integration and Node.js is preferred.
• Proficiency in using version control tools such as Git and collaboration platforms like GitHub.
• Experience with API testing tools such as Postman.
• Strong problem-solving skills and keen attention to UI/UX details.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently in a remote setting.
• Availability for a 3-month internship with the ability to start immediately.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain frontend components using React.js and TypeScript to ensure a smooth user experience.
• Integrate frontend interfaces with backend APIs via REST endpoints to facilitate data exchange.
• Test API responses using Postman to verify data accuracy and flow.
• Design and implement forms, validations, and responsive UI elements that cater to diverse user needs.
• Write clean, reusable, and scalable code following best practices and coding standards.
• Use Git for version control, collaborate effectively with team members, and participate in code reviews.
• Identify and fix UI bugs, optimize performance, and enhance usability and accessibility.
• Leverage AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot to improve coding efficiency and quality.
• Stay updated with the latest frontend development trends and incorporate them into project workflows.
