Frontend Developer

Role Overview

We are looking for a Frontend Developer with strong hands-on experience in building scalable, high-performance, and user-centric web applications. In this role, you will contribute to our core product platform, developing robust React-based applications used by government agencies and enterprise clients.

You will work closely with product managers, designers, backend engineers, and DevOps teams to deliver high-quality software with real-world impact. This role requires a strong problem-solving mindset, practical engineering experience, and the ability to deliver production-grade applications at scale.

What You Will Do

• Develop and maintain scalable React applications for web platforms.
• Own end-to-end feature development from implementation to testing and production readiness.
• Build and maintain reusable components and shared UI libraries.
• Integrate REST APIs, real-time services, and external systems to deliver dynamic user experiences.
• Optimize applications for performance, responsiveness, and efficiency.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code following best practices.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to engineering standards across the team.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless feature delivery.
• Identify and resolve performance issues and production defects.
• Work within Agile/Scrum environments and contribute to sprint planning and estimations.
• Ensure compliance with security and accessibility standards for enterprise/government platforms.
• Stay updated with modern React ecosystem trends and frontend best practices.

What You Will Need

• 5-10 years of frontend development experience, with strong expertise in React.js.
• Proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3/SCSS.
• Strong understanding of:
• React fundamentals (hooks, functional components, lifecycle)
• State management (Redux, Zustand, Context API, etc.)
• Component-driven architecture
• Experience integrating and consuming RESTful APIs in production applications.
• Solid experience with performance optimization techniques.
• Familiarity with testing frameworks (Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress, etc.).
• Experience with Git workflows, code reviews, and collaboration tools.
• Ability to work effectively in a remote-first, fast-paced environment.

• Working knowledge of Node.js or backend systems for API understanding
• Prior experience in GovTech, FinTech, HealthTech, or enterprise domains
• Exposure to developing or working with AI/ML applications and platforms
• Familiarity with AI-driven technologies, including integrating or operationalizing intelligent systems
• Experience working with PDF viewers and related functionalities such as rendering, annotations, document navigation, and performance optimization
• Experience in platform engineering is a strong plus
