About this role
We are hiring a Frontend & BI Engineer to build enterprise web applications in
React and TypeScript and to own Power BI solutions end to end, from data
preparation and modelling through dashboard publishing, security and embedding.
This is not a frontend-only or report-only role. You will move across the user
interface, the semantic model, the dashboard layer, APIs and the supporting data
pipelines to deliver complete analytics applications.
What you will do
- Build responsive enterprise applications in React and TypeScript with clean,
reusable component architecture.
- Own Power BI delivery end to end: requirements, data preparation, modelling,
Power Query, DAX, visual design, publishing, refresh, gateways, workspace
management and Row-Level Security.
- Embed Power BI reports into React applications using Power BI Embedded, with
authentication, filters and contextual navigation.
- Integrate the frontend with REST APIs, including authentication, role-based
access and error handling.
- Use SQL and Python to ingest, clean, transform and validate data, and build
lightweight data APIs in FastAPI where needed.
- Support deployment, troubleshooting and performance tuning across the frontend,
Power BI and data layers.
What we need
- 5+ years across frontend engineering, BI or data-driven application development.
- Strong hands-on React and TypeScript, with Redux, Zustand or TanStack Query.
- Strong Power BI: DAX, Power Query, semantic models, Power BI Service, gateways,
scheduled refresh, RLS.
- Hands-on Power BI Embedded in a web application.
- Strong SQL; working Python (Pandas, FastAPI).
- Ability to troubleshoot across frontend, BI, API and data layers independently.
Nice to have: Azure (App Service, Azure SQL, Blob, Key Vault, Entra ID);
analytics for cybersecurity, risk, compliance or audit; AI-enabled dashboards;
CI/CD and Docker; Microsoft Power BI or Azure certification.
