Front office and customer support

Role & responsibilities

• Welcome patients, visitors, and attendants courteously.
• Manage patient registration and appointment scheduling.
• Verify patient information and maintain accurate records.
• Handle incoming calls, emails, and front-office inquiries.
• Guide patients regarding hospital departments and services.
• Coordinate appointments with consultants and clinical departments.
• Assist in patient admissions, transfers, and discharge coordination.
• Manage patient check-in and check-out procedures.
• Coordinate with billing, nursing, and other departments.
• Handle patient concerns and escalate issues when necessary.
• Maintain front-office documentation and operational records.
• Support billing and payment collection activities when required.
• Ensure smooth patient flow and waiting-area management.
• Maintain confidentiality of patient information.
• Prepare daily reports and administrative records.
• Ensure cleanliness and organization of the reception area.
• Follow hospital customer-service standards and SOPs.
• Participate in quality-improvement and patient-satisfaction initiatives.
• Maintain professional appearance and conduct.
• Perform additional duties assigned by the Front Office Manager.
