Front End Engineer

Role Overview We're looking for a Mid-Level Frontend Engineer with 2–3 years of experience building clean, functional web interfaces using React.js. You'll work alongside senior engineers, designers, and product managers to ship features that real users depend on every day. What You'll Do

• Build and maintain frontend features using React.js and modern JavaScript
• Convert UI/UX designs into responsive, reusable React components
• Write clean, readable code and participate in code reviews
• Debug and fix issues across browsers and devices
• Collaborate with backend engineers to integrate APIs
• Improve small but meaningful things - performance, accessibility, code quality
• Use AI-assisted tools to write, review, and debug code faster What We're Looking For
• 2 - 3 years of professional experience in frontend development
• Strong web fundamentals - you genuinely understand how JavaScript, HTML, and CSS work, not just how to use them
• Practical experience building real-world web apps with React.js and Next.js
• Comfortable using Chrome DevTools to debug layout issues, network requests, and JavaScript errors
• Experience working with REST APIs and integrating them into UI
• Hands-on experience with state management using Redux or a similar library
• Proficient with Git - branching, merging, rebasing, resolving conflicts, and working in a shared codebase
• Experience with Tailwind CSS or Styled Components
• A curious mindset - you enjoy figuring things out and keep up with how frontend is evolving
• A collaborative team player who communicates clearly, asks good questions, and gives useful feedback in code reviews
• Actively using AI tools (like GitHub Copilot or similar) in your daily workflow is a strong plus Nice to Have
• Experience with web performance optimization (lazy loading, code splitting, reducing bundle size)
• Experience with testing tools like Vitest or React Testing Library
• Prior experience in a product startup or fast-paced team This is a full-time role based in Mumbai.
