ABOUT THE ROLE
We are looking for a skilled and passionate Front-End Developer with 23 years of professional experience to join our technology team.
The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in React.js and Next.js, with a good understanding of modern front-end development, responsive UI development, API integration, performance optimization, and reusable component architecture.
Candidates who have worked on AI-powered applications or projects involving AI, LLM, RAG, Generative AI, AI APIs, chatbots, or intelligent SaaS products will have a strong advantage.
The candidate will work closely with UI/UX Designers, Backend Developers, AI/ML Engineers, QA Engineers, Technical Product Managers, and other stakeholders to build scalable, high-performance, user-friendly web applications.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Front-End Development

• Develop responsive, scalable, and high-performance web applications using React.js and Next.js.
• Build reusable and maintainable UI components.
• Convert UI/UX designs, wireframes, and prototypes into functional web interfaces.
• Develop clean, modular, scalable, and well-structured front-end code.
• Follow modern front-end development standards and best practices.
• Ensure cross-browser and cross-device compatibility.

2. React.js & Next.js Development

• Develop applications using React.js, Next.js, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
• Work with React Hooks, functional components, state management, routing, and reusable components.
• Implement Next.js features such as:
• Server-Side Rendering (SSR)
• Static Site Generation (SSG)
• API routes
• Dynamic routing
• Middleware
• Image optimization

• Optimize applications for performance, scalability, and maintainability.

3. AI / LLM / RAG Integration Advantage
Candidates with AI project experience will be preferred.
Exposure to the following will be an added advantage:

4. API Integration

• Integrate REST APIs and backend services into front-end applications.
• Work with JSON-based APIs and asynchronous data handling.
• Integrate authentication and authorization mechanisms.
• Handle API loading, success, error, and empty states.
• Work closely with backend developers to troubleshoot API integration issues.
• Integrate AI/LLM APIs and display real-time or streaming responses where required.

5. UI/UX Implementation

• Work closely with UI/UX designers to convert designs into production-ready interfaces.
• Ensure accurate implementation of layouts, typography, spacing, colors, and interactions.
• Build responsive interfaces for desktop, tablet, and mobile devices.
• Improve usability, accessibility, and overall user experience.
• Identify UI/UX issues and suggest practical improvements.

6. Performance Optimization

• Optimize front-end applications for speed and performance.
• Reduce unnecessary rendering and API calls.
• Optimize JavaScript, CSS, images, and other assets.
• Implement appropriate caching and lazy-loading techniques.
• Monitor and resolve performance bottlenecks.
• Follow Next.js and React performance optimization practices.

7. State Management

• Implement effective application state management.
• Work with tools/libraries such as:
• React Context API
• Redux / Redux Toolkit
• Zustand or equivalent technologies

• Manage application state efficiently across complex applications.

8. Testing & Debugging

• Identify and resolve front-end bugs and performance issues.
• Perform functional and browser testing.
• Work closely with QA teams to resolve defects.
• Write basic unit/component tests where required.
• Debug issues using browser developer tools and appropriate development tools.

9. Collaboration

• Work closely with:
• UI/UX Designers
• Backend Developers
• AI/ML Engineers
• QA Engineers
• DevOps Engineers
• Technical Product Managers

• Participate in daily development discussions and sprint activities.
• Understand product requirements and convert them into technical implementation.
• Provide realistic development estimates and communicate project progress.

10. Code Quality & Documentation

• Follow coding standards and development best practices.
• Write clean, readable, reusable, and maintainable code.
• Participate in code reviews.
• Maintain technical documentation where required.
• Use Git-based version control and follow proper branching and pull-request practices.
