Job Overview

We are looking for detail-oriented and enthusiastic freshers with a postgraduate degree in Life Sciences to join our team as Copy Editors. The ideal candidate should have a strong command of English, a keen eye for detail, and an interest in reviewing, editing, and proofreading scientific and academic content to ensure accuracy, clarity, consistency, and adherence to editorial guidelines.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and edit scientific, academic, and life sciences-related content for grammar, spelling, punctuation, and sentence structure.
• Proofread manuscripts, research documents, and other scientific materials for accuracy and consistency.
• Ensure that the content follows the prescribed formatting, style, and editorial guidelines.
• Check scientific terminology, abbreviations, references, and overall content consistency.
• Identify grammatical errors, inconsistencies, and language-related issues without changing the intended meaning of the content.
• Ensure the final content is clear, readable, and professionally presented.
• Incorporate feedback and corrections within specified timelines.
• Coordinate with team members to maintain quality standards and meet productivity targets.

Educational Qualification:

• M.Sc. in Life Sciences or related disciplines.
• Candidates from specializations such as Biotechnology, Microbiology, Biochemistry, Zoology, Botany, Genetics, or other relevant Life Sciences subjects are encouraged to apply.
• Freshers are welcome to apply.
• Strong written English and grammar skills.
• Good attention to detail and the ability to identify errors in written content.
• Basic knowledge of scientific terminology and academic writing.
• Familiarity with MS Word and its editing tools is preferred.
• Willingness to learn editorial guidelines and work within defined deadlines.

Work Requirements

• This is a full-time, work-from-office position based in Dehradun only.
• Candidates must be willing to work from the Dehradun office.
• Candidates should be comfortable working in a target-driven environment while maintaining high standards of quality and accuracy.
