French Language Specialist

Role & responsibilities :

• Translate content accurately between French and English, maintaining the intended meaning, tone, and context.
• Proofread, edit, and review French-language content for grammar, spelling, syntax, terminology, and overall quality.
• Localize content to ensure it is culturally appropriate for French-speaking audiences.
• Create and maintain French-language content, including documents, communications, product content, and other business materials.
• Perform quality checks on translated and localized content.
• Ensure consistency in terminology, style, and brand voice across all French-language materials.
• Collaborate with internal teams, translators, editors, and subject-matter experts as required.
• Research unfamiliar terminology and maintain relevant glossaries and language resources.
• Identify linguistic or cultural issues and recommend appropriate solutions.
• Support language-related projects, audits, and quality improvement initiatives.
• Meet project deadlines while maintaining a high standard of accuracy and quality.
