Freight Leader

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Enterprise Freight Leader to drive freight strategy, optimize transportation costs, manage 3PL partnerships, and lead enterprise-wide freight operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute enterprise freight strategies and optimize transportation networks.
• Manage 3PLs, carriers, freight costs, service levels, and performance KPIs.
• Analyze freight data and drive cost optimization and operational improvements.
• Lead and develop the freight team, ensuring accountability and operational excellence.
• Manage TMS optimization, freight automation, dock scheduling, and ERP integrations.
• Collaborate with Finance, Procurement, Operations, and senior leadership.
• Drive enterprise freight governance and oversee import/export compliance.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 15 - 25 years of experience in freight, transportation, or logistics leadership.
• Strong US Domestic Freight experience is mandatory.
• Proven expertise in enterprise freight strategy and 3PL management.
• Experience with TMS, automation, and process improvement.
• Strong analytical, financial, and team leadership skills.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Manufacturing or distribution experience preferred.
