Freelancer Event Sponsor/Sales

Experience: 1 to 8 years in Event Sponsorship, Media Sales, Brand Partnerships, or B2B Sales

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify and approach potential sponsors for corporate events, exhibitions, conferences, awards, and other events
• Develop and maintain a strong database of potential brands and corporate sponsors
• Pitch sponsorship opportunities and explain event audience, visibility, branding, and business benefits
• Create and present sponsorship proposals and customized packages based on sponsor requirements
• Negotiate sponsorship commercials, branding rights, deliverables, and commercial terms
• Generate new sponsorship leads through networking, LinkedIn, referrals, industry contacts, and direct outreach
• Build relationships with marketing heads, brand managers, CXOs, agencies, and corporate decision-makers
• Follow up consistently and convert leads into confirmed sponsorships
• Coordinate with the event/project team to ensure promised sponsor deliverables are executed
• Maintain records of leads, meetings, proposals, negotiations, and closures
• Achieve agreed sponsorship revenue targets within the event timeline
• Freelancer-specific expectationThe freelancer should ideally have existing corporate/brand contacts and the ability to independently generate sponsorship opportunities
• Commercial Model: commission or success-based commission on sponsorship revenue generated
