About this role
Role & responsibilities
Reach Much Higher Foundation (RMH) is a Section 8 not-for-profit company, registered to receive CSR funds (CSR-1). We run skilling, employability, career counselling and faculty development programmes for students and educators in colleges and schools. Our programmes have been supported by leading MNCs and top Indian brands, and our partners include Oracle Academy and a state public university, with which we have an MoU. RMH received the FKCCI Excellence in Women Empowerment, Diversity & Inclusion Award 2026.
RMH's founder is an IIM alumnus with over 40 years in workforce development. As former Head of CSR and Skill Development at one of the largest and oldest MNCs in India, he conceptualised and led its flagship partnership with NSDC, which set up 100 skill centres across India. He has served on the PMKVY Steering Committee, consulted for NSDC, presented scalable skilling models to the heads of government of India and Germany, and received the Social Change Maker Award 2024. He is also Adjunct Professor and Programme Director at an IIM.
We are looking for an experienced partnerships professional in Bengaluru to build win-win partnerships between RMH and NGOs, as a freelance relationship manager. Many NGOs and implementing agencies run CSR-funded projects that need strong skilling, employability and career guidance components. RMH brings proven programmes and a delivery team; our partners bring their CSR relationships and reach. This role works with NGOs and implementing agencies, not directly with companies' CSR departments.
- Identify NGOs, foundations and implementing agencies whose CSR-funded projects can include skilling, employability or career guidance
- Build relationships with their leadership and programme teams, and present RMH's programmes and delivery model
- Structure win-win partnerships: joint proposals, roles, budgets, co-branding and reporting
- Work with partners to take joint proposals to their CSR funders, through to signed agreements
- Coordinate with RMH's delivery team so programmes start on time and partners stay satisfied
- Renew and grow partnerships year after year
- Maintain an up-to-date pipeline and report progress regularly
- Build new NGO partnerships worth at least 1 crore a year
Preferred candidate profile
Must have:
- Currently working in NGO partnerships or alliances, full-time or part-time
- 5+ years of relevant experience
- A strong network among NGOs and implementing agencies, and a clear understanding of how CSR funds flow to them
- Experience structuring implementation or co-delivery partnerships between organisations, including joint proposals, roles, co-branding and joint reporting to CSR funders
- Based in Bengaluru
- Very good spoken and written English
Good to have:
- A degree in Social Work or Development Studies
- Experience with skilling, education or livelihood programmes
- Hindi and one other Indian language
Perks and benefits
- Learn from and be mentored by some of India's most experienced CSR and skilling leaders, starting with RMH's founder
- Freelance engagement: start part-time and move to full-time as the partnership grows
- Attractive, performance-linked earnings, with the potential to earn up to 1.5 lakh a month, working from home
- Full support: proposals, programme material, impact data, and senior leadership joining key meetings
- A dedicated delivery team runs the programmes, so you can focus on partnerships
- Travel for partner meetings reimbursed
