About this role
Hiring: Snowflake Data Engineer | Part-Time | Remote
We are looking for an experienced Snowflake Data Engineer for a part-time remote opportunity.
Employment Type: Part-Time | Remote / Freelance
Experience: 5+ years preferred
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain data pipelines using Snowflake, SQL, AWS, Python/PySpark, and dbt.
- Work with Snowflake tables, stages, COPY INTO, Streams, Tasks, and performance/cost optimization.
- Build ingestion and transformation pipelines using AWS S3, Glue, Lambda, Step Functions, IAM, and CloudWatch.
- Develop Python/PySpark solutions for ingestion, transformations, API integration, and data validation.
- Build dbt models, incremental loads, tests, and SCD Type 2 implementations.
- Implement data-quality checks including reconciliation, duplicate detection, null checks, and schema validation.
- Troubleshoot ETL/ELT pipelines, production failures, logs, and reruns.
- Develop API ingestion workflows with pagination, retries, and incremental extraction.
- Perform root-cause analysis and resolve production data issues.
- Understand JIRA requirements and convert them into clear technical implementation steps.
