Freelance CSR Fundraising Consultant, Skilling & Education (Bengaluru)

Role & responsibilities

Reach Much Higher Foundation (RMH) is a Section 8 not-for-profit company, registered to receive CSR funds (CSR-1). We run skilling, employability, career counselling and faculty development programmes for students and educators in colleges and schools. Our programmes have been supported by leading MNCs and top Indian brands, and our partners include Oracle Academy and a state public university, with which we have an MoU. RMH received the FKCCI Excellence in Women Empowerment, Diversity & Inclusion Award 2026.

RMH's founder is an IIM alumnus with over 40 years in workforce development. As former Head of CSR and Skill Development at one of the largest and oldest MNCs in India, he conceptualised and led its flagship partnership with NSDC, which set up 100 skill centres across India. He has served on the PMKVY Steering Committee, consulted for NSDC, presented scalable skilling models to the heads of government of India and Germany, and received the Social Change Maker Award 2024. He is also Adjunct Professor and Programme Director at an IIM.

We are looking for an experienced CSR fundraising professional in Bengaluru to raise CSR funding for RMH's skilling and education programmes, as a freelance consultant. This role works directly with companies' CSR teams and foundations.

• Build a pipeline of companies and corporate foundations whose CSR priorities match RMH's skilling and education work
• Reach CSR heads, CSR committee members and senior decision-makers, and present RMH's programmes
• Prepare tailored proposals, budgets and impact plans with RMH's team
• Follow up through due diligence and approvals to signed MoUs and release of funds
• Secure renewals and grow funding from existing CSR partners
• Keep partners informed with regular progress and impact reports
• Travel to meet prospective and existing partners as needed
• Close new CSR funding of at least 1 crore a year

Preferred candidate profile

Must have:

• Currently working in CSR fundraising, full-time or part-time (not in general CSR, implementation or compliance roles)
• 8+ years of relevant experience
• A track record of raising CSR funding of 1 crore or more a year
• Established relationships with CSR heads and senior corporate decision-makers, and excellent presentation and negotiation skills
• Experience pitching directly to corporate CSR heads and CSR committees, with a working knowledge of CSR planning cycles, approvals and due diligence
• Based in Bengaluru
• Very good spoken and written English

Good to have:

• A degree in Social Work
• An existing network in skilling, education or CSR
• Hindi and one other Indian language
