Job Description We are looking for a Freelance Cloud / Data Engineer with strong experience in building, managing, and optimizing cloud-based data and application environments. The ideal candidate should be hands-on with Python development, cloud platforms (GCP), data systems, and observability tools, along with strong experience in APIs, security tools, and Linux environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain data pipelines and backend services using Python
- Work on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services and architecture
- Manage and optimize data storage systems including MongoDB, Teradata, and AWS S3
- Implement monitoring and logging using Splunk
- Build and integrate REST APIs between systems
- Manage secrets and security using Vault
- Perform Linux server administration and troubleshooting
- Support cloud-based deployments and automation tasks
- Ensure system reliability, scalability, and performance
