Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Fraud Risk Manager to lead fraud prevention and detection strategies within

our digital lending/payments ecosystem. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in risk management,

fraud analytics, and regulatory compliance, with hands-on experience in digital payment platforms. This role also

involves managing a team and fostering a culture of integrity, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Fraud Risk Strategy: Develop and implement fraud risk management frameworks for digital payment products and services.
• Monitoring & Detection: Design and maintain real-time fraud monitoring systems using advanced analytics and machine learning models.
• Incident Management: Investigate fraud cases, perform root cause analysis, and recommend corrective actions.
• Policy & Compliance: Ensure adherence to regulatory guidelines (RBI, PCI-DSS, AML, KYC) and internal risk policies.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with product, operations, and technology teams to embed fraud controls in payment workflows.
• Data Analysis: Utilize transaction data to identify patterns, anomalies, and emerging fraud trends.
• Vendor Management: Evaluate and manage third-party fraud prevention tools and solutions.
• Reporting: Prepare periodic fraud risk reports for senior management and regulatory bodies.
• People Management:
• Lead and mentor a team of fraud analysts and investigators.
• Set clear goals, provide regular feedback, and foster professional development.
• Build a high-performing team culture focused on accountability and innovation.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Finance, Risk Management, Data Analytics, or related field (Masters preferred).
• 5+ years of experience in fraud risk management within digital payments, banking, or FinTech.
• Strong understanding of payment systems (UPI, wallets, cards, net banking) and fraud typologies.
• Proficiency in SQL, Python/R, and fraud detection tools.
• Knowledge of AML, KYC, RBI guidelines, and global fraud prevention standards.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Proven experience in team leadership and people development.

Preferred Certifications:

• Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE)
• Risk Management Certifications (FRM, CRMP)
• PCI-DSS or AML/KYC compliance certifications
