About the Opportunity

Protiviti India is expanding its Financial Reporting Advisory (FRA) practice and is looking to hire experienced professionals across mid-to-leadership levels to work with leading banking and financial services organizations in India and globally.

We are seeking professionals with a strong background in Financial Reporting Advisory, IFRS/Ind AS, banking finance and accounting processes, bank regulatory reporting, ERP/finance systems, and consulting.

The opportunity is suited to professionals who can combine deep domain expertise with consulting and client management capabilities and are looking to work on complex, large-scale transformation and advisory engagements.

Key Areas of Work

Depending on experience and level, the role will involve:

• Leading and delivering Financial Reporting Advisory and accounting advisory engagements for banking and financial services clients.
• Advising clients on IFRS, Ind AS, financial reporting, accounting policies, reporting processes, and finance transformation.
• Leading projects involving bank regulatory reporting, including reporting processes, data, controls, systems, and governance.
• Providing advisory support on banking finance processes, financial close, reporting, consolidation, and management reporting.
• Leading ERP and finance systems transformation initiatives, including business requirements, process design, implementation, testing, and optimization.
• Assessing existing finance and reporting processes and developing target operating models, process improvements, controls, and automation opportunities.
• Supporting clients in transforming finance and regulatory reporting architectures, processes, data flows, and reporting systems.
• Managing complex workstreams and, at senior levels, leading end-to-end engagements and multi-disciplinary teams.
• Working closely with CXO-level and senior client stakeholders to understand business challenges and develop practical solutions.
• Coordinating with global Protiviti teams on international and cross-border engagements.
• Developing proposals, presentations, solutions, and thought leadership for prospective and existing clients.
• Contributing to business development, account development, and identification of new advisory opportunities.

Leadership Expectations

For Mid to Leadership-level roles, candidates should additionally demonstrate:

• Proven experience in leading large and complex client engagements.
• Strong senior stakeholder and CXO-level relationship management skills.
• Ability to build and lead high-performing consulting teams.
• Strong understanding of the banking and financial services landscape.
• Experience in developing solutions and propositions across FRA, IFRS, regulatory reporting, finance transformation, and ERP.
• Demonstrated contribution to business development, client acquisition, account growth, and proposals.
• Ability to connect business, finance, regulatory, and technology requirements to deliver end-to-end transformation solutions.
• Experience working with global clients and distributed international teams is an advantage.
