Job Description: Founding Full-Stack Engineer (AI-Native)

• Location: Remote (hiring office in Bengaluru)
• Experience: 5 upto 10 years
• Salary: 20 LPA upto 35 LPA
• Employment Type: Full-Time, Permanent
• Working Days: Monday to Saturday (~12 hrs/day, 6 days/week)
  

Role Summary

Not a maintenance/ticket-picking role. One person owns a feature end-to-end UI, API, data, deploy — expected to use AI (Claude/agents) as a core workflow multiplier to ship 5–10x faster than traditional pace. Explicitly high-intensity culture; not suited for work-life-balance-first candidates.

Key Ownership Areas

• End-to-end feature ownership (frontend backend database)
• Building user-facing interfaces (clean, fast, responsive)
• Backend APIs, business logic, data models, integrations
• Wiring in AI features (LLM calls, retrieval, agents, MCP tools) as core product components, not add-ons
• Full deployment ownership — deploy, monitor, fix in production
• Product/architecture decision-making with accountability

"AI-Native" Work Expectation

• Daily use of Claude/AI agents/orchestrated workflows to compress dev work (scaffolding, code review, debugging, test generation, automation)
• Ability to build automations — chain tools, write agentic workflows, embed AI into dev loop and product
• Judgment over AI output — knowing when to trust vs. discard
• Demonstrated track record of AI-accelerated output

Tech Stack

• Frontend: React, Next.js, TypeScript, Tailwind CSS
• Backend: Node.js, Express.js (Next.js API routes / FastAPI where relevant)
• Databases: PostgreSQL (+ pgvector), Redis
• Vector/Embeddings: pgvector, Pinecone, Weaviate, ChromaDB, Qdrant
• AI Integration: LLM APIs (Claude, etc.), agents, MCP (Model Context Protocol)
• APIs & Auth: REST, GraphQL, WebSockets, OAuth2, JWT, rate limiting
• Infra/DevOps: AWS, Docker, CI/CD (GitHub Actions), Kubernetes (as needed)
• AI/NLP Adjacent: Hugging Face, spaCy, NLTK, vLLM, Ollama, MLflow, Weights & Biases

Must-Have Skills

• 5+ years full-stack production experience
• React + Next.js + TypeScript (non-templated UI)
• Node.js + Express.js — strong backend design
• PostgreSQL + Redis — data modeling, query performance, caching
• API design & auth — REST, GraphQL, OAuth2/JWT, rate limiting
• Ops ownership — AWS, Docker, CI/CD
• AI feature integration — LLM APIs, vector search, ideally MCP
• Startup background — ambiguous specs, small teams, real ownership
• Demonstrated AI-native workflow with concrete examples

Good-to-Have Skills

• Product/design sensibility
• Real-time systems (WebSockets, gRPC, streaming)
• Python + FastAPI
• Dedicated vector databases
• Kubernetes at scale
• Mobile (React Native or similar)
• MLOps/model serving (vLLM, Ollama, MLflow, W&B)
• Messaging/streaming (Redis Pub/Sub, RabbitMQ, Kafka)
