About this role
Chief of Staff Founder's Office:
About the Role
We're looking for a seasoned Chief of Staff to sit in the Founder's Office and act as a strategic extension of the founder. This is a senior, high-trust role for someone who can operate independently on complex, ambiguous problems, drive execution across the organization, and bring the judgment of a business leader not just an analyst.
What You'll Do
- Act as a trusted advisor and sounding board to the founder on strategic, operational, and organizational priorities
- Drive the company's strategic planning process — annual/quarterly goal-setting, OKRs, and performance reviews across functions
- Lead complex, cross-functional initiatives (new business lines, market entry, restructuring, M&A evaluation) from framing to execution
- Own founder-level communication: board decks, investor updates, all-hands narratives, and key external correspondence
- Build and run the operating cadence of the company — leadership meetings, business reviews, escalation processes
- Partner with functional leaders (Sales, Product, Finance, Ops) to unblock execution and ensure alignment with company priorities
- Lead fundraising support — data room management, investor diligence, narrative and materials development
- Identify structural/organizational gaps as the company scales and design solutions (team structure, processes, systems)
- Represent the founder in select external meetings, partnerships, and negotiations
- Mentor and manage a small team of junior Founder's Office associates/analysts, if applicable
What We're Looking For
- 8–10 years of experience in management consulting, investment banking, private equity/VC, or senior leadership/strategy roles in a high-growth startup
- Demonstrated experience operating close to founders or C-suite, with high judgment and discretion
- Strong track record of leading cross-functional, ambiguous initiatives to measurable outcomes
- Exceptional communication skills — able to write and structure founder/board-level narratives independently
- Strong financial and business acumen; comfortable with P&L, unit economics, and fundraising processes
- Proven people leadership — has managed teams or mentored junior talent
- High ownership, low ego, and comfort with a fast-paced, evolving environment
- MBA from a top-tier institute preferred, not mandatory
What You'll Get
- Direct, high-bandwidth access to the founder and top leadership
- Ownership over some of the company's most critical strategic bets
- Compensation and equity commensurate with a senior leadership hire
- A seat at the table as the company scales
