About the Role
I am looking for a highly curious, tech-oriented and ambitious person to work directly with me as part of the Founder's Office at Ascella Group .
This is not a traditional Executive Assistant role.
You will work closely with me on research, analysis, day-to-day execution, follow-ups, documentation and exploring ideas that I want to pursue.
The role is particularly suited to someone who eventually wants to build something of their own or move into senior business, strategy or leadership roles.
What You Will Work On
Research will be a major part of the role.
Some areas will be directly related to businesses and opportunities we are exploring, while others will be more exploratory and long-term.
Areas may include:
- Space technology - companies, technologies, launch systems, satellites, propulsion, emerging opportunities and the broader space ecosystem.
- Technology emerging industries - AI, software, cybersecurity, Web3 and other technologies that may become commercially relevant.
- Cybersecurity - products, companies, technologies, market developments and potential opportunities for Ascella.
- Founder's Office research - investigating questions, ideas, companies, products or opportunities that I want to understand.

- Internal business research - researching tools, products, vendors, technologies and other requirements for our own operations.
The expectation is not simply to collect information.
You should be able to research a subject, understand it, separate fact from speculation, identify credible sources and explain what you found clearly.
Founder's Office

- Daily and weekly reports.
- Follow-ups and reminders.
- Drafting and sending emails.
- Meeting preparation and notes.
- Tracking action items.
- Organising information and documents.
- Researching things I need to make decisions on.
- Preparing presentations, briefs and summaries.
- Following up on things that are pending.
Over time, I expect you to understand the context behind what you are doing rather than simply executing isolated tasks.
