    About this role

Founder's Office — YouTube Content Writer, Strategy & Growth

Work directly with Somrat Dutta to build long-form YouTube content, primarily for his channel, with additional work for Indian School of Motion (ISOM) and the upcoming ISOM Studios channel.

    About us

ISOM is helping video editors and motion designers become AI-native through practical education, internal tools, and production workflows. We also create animated SaaS launch videos and brand films for startups and brands. Co-founded by Somrat Dutta and Divyansh Dwivedi, we sold out our first batch in the first week of launch. We're now building what comes next.

    The role

This is a high-ownership role in the founder's office. You'll work closely with Somrat, understand his story and point of view, and turn ideas into compelling YouTube videos. You'll help shape the content strategy and write the playbook as we build.

    What you'll do

    • Research topics, market trends, and audience demand.

    • Study Somrat's channel: its tone, audience, and the videos and titles that have performed well.

    • Find evidence from other channels and explain why a topic or format fits our audience.

    • Own video packaging: the topic, angle, title, and thumbnail concept.

    • Write long-form scripts with strong hooks, storytelling, narration, pacing, and clear visual direction.

    • Use AI tools thoughtfully for research, writing, and workflows, while checking facts and maintaining an original voice.

    • Collaborate on content involving editing, motion design, and AI-native creative workflows.

    • Learn from performance and improve future content.

    Who we're looking for

    • A strong writer with published long-form YouTube work and a clear contribution to show.

    • Someone who absorbs social media, understands what works, and can explain why.

    • Technically aware and AI-native, with strong research and storytelling instincts.

    • Familiarity with video editing or motion design is a plus.

    • High ownership, sound judgment, attention to detail, and the ability to learn fast.

    Non-negotiable

We're hiring an individual, not an agency or team. You must be willing to focus on working exclusively with us, rather than juggling other clients or another job.

    Details

    Location: Bengaluru, on-site

Duration: 6-month internship, with a real shot at full-time conversion

Stipend: Up to 50,000/month, depending on interview

    How to apply

Complete at least ONE assignment — Easy, Medium, or Hard — and submit through our application form. Quality matters more than difficulty or quantity.

Include your assignment and a mandatory Loom walkthrough explaining your thinking: your research, evidence, channel fit, topic, packaging, and the reasoning behind every pointer, word, line, and creative decision in your script. We care most about the quality of your current assignment and how you think. Add relevant published work, your exact contribution, and portfolio details in the form.
