Forward Deployed Engineer

Responsibilities:

• End-to-end on-prem enterprise deployments across connected, restricted, and air-gapped environments.
• Build and maintain offline deployment bundles (container images, Helm charts, model weights, runtime dependencies).
• Configure deployments for Kubernetes (OpenShift, Rancher, Vanilla K8S), Linux, VMware, bare metal, and private cloud.
• Conduct customer environment assessments, deployment planning, and readiness validation.
• Build deployment automation using Helm, Bash/Python/Ansible, pre-flight checks, and post-install validation.
• Troubleshoot Kubernetes, Linux, GPU, networking, authentication (LDAP/AD/SAML), and production deployment issues.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to improve deployment tooling, packaging, and platform reliability.

Requirements:

• 5+ years deploying enterprise software in on-prem, private cloud, bare metal, or hybrid environments.
• Strong hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Helm, Linux, Docker/Containers, and enterprise networking.
• Experience with air-gapped deployments, private registries, offline repositories, and secure enterprise environments.
• Knowledge of LDAP, Active Directory, SAML, TLS/PKI, and customer-facing deployment support.

Nice to Have:

• OpenShift or Rancher.
• NVIDIA GPU, CUDA, ROCm, GPU Operator.
• LLM deployment (vLLM, Ollama, TGI).
• Bash, Python, or Ansible automation.
• Experience in defence, aerospace, or other regulated industries.
