Forward Deployed Engineer / AI Architect

About the Role

Jade Global is looking for a Forward Deployed Engineer to operate at the intersection of engineering and client delivery. In this hands-on, high-ownership role, you will embed directly with enterprise client teams to translate ambiguous business challenges into scalable, production-grade solutionsfrom initial architecture to deployment and beyond.

Key Responsibilities

• Client-Embedded Engineering: Partner directly with client stakeholders to uncover core pain points and convert complex requirements into technical designs.
• Build & Integrate: Design and implement robust integrations, data pipelines, automations, and custom apps bridging Jade Global solutions with client systems (ERP, CRM, Cloud).
• End-to-End Ownership: Lead the complete lifecycle of your workstreams—architecture, coding, testing, CI/CD deployment, and production stabilization.
• Technical Advisory: Act as the trusted technical face on-site; lead discovery sessions, present demos, unblock technical roadblocks, and manage stakeholder expectations.
• Production Support & Quality: Triage complex cross-layer issues to root cause, mentor junior team members, and build reusable delivery accelerators.

Qualifications

• Experience: 8–15 years in software engineering, solution engineering, or technical consulting with significant customer-facing exposure.
• Core Tech Stack: Strong proficiency in at least one language (Python, Java, TypeScript/JavaScript, or C#) with the ability to quickly master new technologies.
• Integrations & Cloud: Proven track record building enterprise API integrations and data flows; hands-on expertise with AWS, Azure, or GCP, containers, and CI/CD.
• Data & Systems: Solid foundation in SQL, data modeling, and modern database/analytics stores.
• Soft Skills & Mobility: Strong executive communication skills, proactive problem ownership, and willingness to travel to client sites as needed.

Preferred Qualifications

• Hands-on exposure to major enterprise ecosystems (Salesforce, SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or Workday).
• Experience with modern data/AI stacks (Snowflake, Databricks, dbt) or forward-deployed startup/consulting models.
