Forklift Operator

Key Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts and material-handling equipment safely and efficiently.
• Load and unload materials, products, pallets, and containers from trucks and storage areas.
• Move and stack materials in designated locations.
• Inspect the forklift before each shift and report any defects or maintenance issues.
• Follow warehouse procedures, safety regulations, and operational instructions.
• Ensure materials are handled carefully to prevent damage.
• Maintain accurate records of materials moved, received, or dispatched when required.
• Keep the work area clean, organized, and free from hazards.
• Assist with warehouse activities such as picking, packing, and inventory movement when required.
• Follow proper procedures for charging or refueling forklifts.
• Communicate effectively with warehouse staff, supervisors, and other team members.
• Report accidents, unsafe conditions, equipment damage, or material discrepancies immediately.
