Food Microbiologist: Center of Excellence for Metal Packaging is responsible for reporting the microbiological

analysis of raw materials, packaging materials, finished products, shelf-life samples and market complaint

samples through microbiological procedures such as sampling, preparing culture media, sterilization of culture

media etc.

Key Result Areas (Key Performance Indicators):

• Establish Microbiology Lab.
• Responsible for assessing and monitoring the microbiological quality of food products.
• Conduct microbiological tests, analyze samples for pathogens and other microorganisms.
• Implement and monitor hygiene practices, sanitation procedures, and microbial testing protocols.
• Involved in research to identify and understand microorganisms that affect food quality and safety.
• Evaluate and implement preventive measures to minimize risks and ensure compliance with food

safety regulations.

• Keep up-to-date with the latest food safety regulations and guidelines issued by regulatory bodies

Educational Background and Work Experience

Ph.D or Post Graduate degree in Food Microbiology with 3 Years of experience in Ph.D or Post Graduate degree in Food Microbiology.
