Role Description The Food Beverage Controller is a full-time, on-site role based at Aldovia Resort & Convention in Bengaluru. This role is responsible for monitoring and controlling food and beverage costs, ensuring accurate recording of consumption, wastage, and inventory movements. Day-to-day responsibilities include reviewing purchase orders and invoices, analyzing menu costing and margins, reconciling stock levels with physical inventories, and preparing regular cost and variance reports for management. The Food Beverage Controller collaborates with kitchen, stores, and finance teams to implement cost-saving measures, maintain internal controls, and support pricing decisions that align with the resort's quality standards. The role also involves maintaining compliance with internal policies and industry best practices, while supporting operational efficiency across all dining outlets and banqueting services.
Qualifications

• Strong cost management capabilities, including Cost Control and Menu Costing skills.
• Robust financial acumen, with experience in Finance and Accounting within hospitality or a related sector.
• Well-developed Analytical Skills, with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and recommend actionable improvements.
• Proficiency in inventory management systems and MS Excel or similar tools for reporting and analysis.
• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Hotel Management, Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field.
• Experience in food and beverage cost control in hotels, resorts, or large-scale event venues is highly beneficial.
• Attention to detail, integrity in handling financial data, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Strong communication and organizational skills, with the capacity to work in a fast-paced operational environment.
