Food Safety Officer

JD:
1. Design, develop & implement quality standards, systems & procedures.
2. Oversee and direct the overall quality and safety of the company's products.
3. Take all action to ensure that products are safe to consume and meets standards set by both the company
     and regulatory authorities.
4. Plan, schedule and conduct regular and surprise audits at company facilities, third party facilities,
    distributors, retailers and logistic partners.
5. Regularly review quality and safety policies and manage audits by third-party inspectors.
6. Oversee manufacturing and production processes, as and when required to suggest improvements and
    enhancements.
7. Keep record of all tests and inspections that have been conducted.
8. Assimilate information from internal & external laboratory tests to confirm that taste, color and smell of  
    products are within the acceptable specifications.
9. Ensure verification & checks to confirm products are packaged safely, and have expiration dates and
    instructions about storage and use as mandated by the company and regulatory authorities.
10. Oversee research projects to improve the taste, preservation techniques and packaging solutions.
11. Review customer feedback and respond through appropriate channel to any complaints.
12. Provide complete support & assistance in implementing Hazard Analysis and Critical
13. Control Points (HACCP) management system required by the Food and Drug
14. Administration (FDA) and the standards set by the Food Safety & Standards Authority of India (FSSAI).
15. Conformance to plan/ budget
16. Zero defect quality (Reduction in consumer complaints)
17. Minimum wastage (Efficiency/Wastage reduction)
18. Ensure requisite reports and tests are done on time

Experience - 3-6 yrs (Candidate can be lesser experienced too till 2-3 yrs in case worked in Dairy Sector Specifically).

Candidate - Ability to learn and grow, Maintain Quality as the company POC at the plant (Technical Knowledge for Quality is needed).

Willing to relocate to Production center, Accommodation on their own.
