Role Description The Food and Beverage Facilitator is a full-time, on-site role based in Tumkur. This role focuses on coordinating daily food and beverage operations for training programs and community events, ensuring nutritious and hygienic meals are prepared and served on time. The facilitator will manage inventory, monitor quality and safety standards, and liaise with vendors, kitchen staff, and program coordinators to align services with participant needs. Responsibilities include planning menus in line with budget and nutritional guidelines, supervising preparation and distribution, maintaining cleanliness and compliance with health regulations, and collecting feedback to improve services. The role also involves basic record-keeping, reporting usage and costs, and collaborating with the wider team to support the foundation's livelihood and training initiatives.
Qualifications

• Experience in food and beverage operations, including menu planning, preparation oversight, and service coordination in institutional or community settings.
• Knowledge of food safety, hygiene standards, and basic nutrition, with the ability to implement and monitor health and safety protocols.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills to handle scheduling, inventory tracking, and coordination with multiple stakeholders.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work respectfully with diverse groups, including youth and community members.
• Ability to maintain accurate records of supplies, costs, and consumption; basic proficiency in using spreadsheets or simple digital tools is an advantage.
• Demonstrated reliability and accountability, with a commitment to social impact and alignment with Head Held High Foundation's values.
• Prior experience in hospitality, canteen management, community kitchens, or similar roles is preferred; exposure to rural or nonprofit work is a plus.
• Minimum educational qualification of a high school diploma; vocational training in food production, catering, or hospitality is beneficial.
