About this role
We are looking for a skilled and motivated Flutter Developer with 1-4 years of experience in developing, testing, and maintaining cross-platform mobile applications for Android and iOS.
The candidate should have hands-on experience with Flutter and Dart, a good understanding of mobile application development concepts, and knowledge of Android and iOS platforms. Familiarity with Java programming and native Android development is required to support native integrations, troubleshoot platform-specific issues, and work with existing Android codebases.
The ideal candidate should be comfortable integrating REST APIs, working with databases, debugging mobile applications, and collaborating with UI/UX designers, backend developers, and QA engineers.
Key Responsibilities 1. Flutter Application Development - Design, develop, test, and maintain mobile applications using Flutter and Dart.
- Build responsive and user-friendly interfaces for Android and iOS devices.
- Develop reusable widgets and maintain clean, scalable, and maintainable code.
- Implement navigation, forms, validations, application workflows, and state management.
- Optimize application performance, responsiveness, and user experience.
- Identify and resolve application bugs and technical issues.
- Develop and maintain cross-platform applications compatible with Android and iOS.
- Understand the mobile application lifecycle and platform-specific requirements.
- Troubleshoot device compatibility, permissions, notifications, and platform-specific issues.
- Work with Android Studio, Xcode, Android SDK, and iOS development tools as required.
- Understand application signing, build configuration, and deployment processes.
- Integrate native Android or iOS functionality into Flutter applications when required.
- Apply knowledge of Java programming for Android-related development and debugging.
- Understand basic Android application architecture, activities, services, and lifecycle.
- Work with existing Java-based Android modules and troubleshoot native-level issues.
- Integrate native Android functionality with Flutter using platform channels where required.
- Collaborate with native Android developers to resolve platform-specific challenges.
- Integrate RESTful APIs into Flutter applications.
- Handle JSON data, API responses, exceptions, and error scenarios.
- Implement authentication and authorization flows.
- Coordinate with backend developers for API requirements and integration issues.
- Work with third-party SDKs and external services as required. Required Technical Skills Mandatory Skills
- 1-4 years of experience in mobile application development.
- Hands-on experience with Flutter and Dart.
- Good understanding of Android and iOS application development.
- Knowledge of Java programming language, preferably with Android development exposure.
- Experience integrating REST APIs and handling JSON data.
- Understanding of mobile application architecture and lifecycle.
- Knowledge of state management in Flutter.
- Experience with Git or other version control systems.
- Knowledge of local databases and persistent storage.
- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Skills- Android Studio and Xcode.
- Firebase Authentication, Cloud Messaging, and other Firebase services.
- Native Android development using Java or Kotlin.
- Flutter platform channels and native plugin integration.
- Push notifications, deep linking, and third-party SDK integration.
- Play Store and App Store deployment.
- Unit and widget testing.
- CI/CD for mobile applications.
