About the Role
We are looking for a Floor Manager to supervise day-to-day shop-floor operations, ensure production targets, maintain quality standards, and effectively manage manpower and production activities.
Key Responsibilities

• Supervise daily production and assembly line operations.
• Ensure production targets are achieved while maintaining quality.
• Manage manpower deployment, attendance, and shift allocation.
• Coordinate with Production, Quality, Maintenance, and Stores teams.
• Ensure compliance with SOPs, safety, 5S, and workplace discipline.
• Resolve shop-floor issues and escalate breakdowns, material shortages, and delays.
• Track daily production output and prepare shift-wise reports.
• Reduce defects, rework, wastage, and production losses.
• Support operator training and continuous improvement initiatives.

Must-Have Skills

• 25 years of experience in manufacturing, production supervision, or shop-floor management.
• Experience in assembly line operations preferred.
• Good understanding of production processes, quality, and safety.
• Strong team handling, leadership, and communication skills.
• Good problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Basic knowledge of MS Excel and ERP systems.

Good to Have

• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, 5S, and Kaizen.
• Experience managing multiple production lines.
• Engineering Diploma/Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Production, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
