Job Summary

We are looking for a motivated Fixture Maintenance Technician responsible for maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting production fixtures, jigs, and assembly tools to ensure smooth production operations and minimize machine downtime.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and breakdown maintenance of production fixtures and jigs.
• Inspect, repair, and maintain mechanical fixtures used in manufacturing and assembly operations.
• Identify and troubleshoot fixture-related problems during production.
• Perform fixture setting, alignment, fitting, and adjustments.
• Read and interpret mechanical engineering drawings.
• Carry out drilling, grinding, filing, and basic fitting operations.
• Maintain pneumatic and hydraulic fixtures, where applicable.
• Ensure fixtures are in good working condition and meet production quality requirements.
• Coordinate with production and quality teams to resolve fixture-related issues.
• Maintain maintenance records and follow workplace safety procedures.
• Support continuous improvement activities to improve fixture performance and productivity.

Required Skills

• Basic knowledge of mechanical fitting and tools.
• Understanding of jigs, fixtures, and assembly tools.
• Knowledge of mechanical drawings and measurements.
• Familiarity with Vernier Caliper and Micrometer.
• Basic troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of pneumatic and hydraulic systems is an advantage.
• Willingness to learn and work in a manufacturing environment.

Eligibility Criteria

• Qualification: ITI Fitter or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
• Experience: Freshers can apply; experienced candidates will also be considered.
• Basic mechanical knowledge and a willingness to learn are essential.
