Fixture Design Engineer

Role & responsibilities :

• Design and develop fixtures and Special Purpose Machines (SPM) in SolidWorks.
• Support manufacturing processes related to SPM and fixtures.
• Maintain and update the Bill of Materials (BOM) and ensure proper revalidation of fixtures.
• Improve, modify, and redesign existing fixtures to enhance productivity and process efficiency.
• Prepare and maintain master drawings for all fixtures and SPM.
• Coordinate with Production, New Product Development (NPD), Maintenance, and external suppliers.
• Support tool room activities and resolve fixture-related manufacturing issues.

Preferred candidate profile

• Proficiency in SolidWorks and 3D modelling.
• Strong knowledge of fixture design and manufacturing processes.
• Exposure to tool room operations.
• Knowledge of engineering drawings, BOM management, and fixture development.
• Good decision-making, problem-solving, and project management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
