Job Overview

We are looking for a skilled CATIA V5 Fixture Design Engineer with experience in fixture design principles, Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T), and mechanical design. Experience in checking fixture design will be an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop fixtures using CATIA V5.
• Apply fixture design principles to develop effective and manufacturable designs.
• Interpret engineering drawings and apply GD&T standards.
• Create and modify 3D models and 2D engineering drawings.
• Ensure fixture designs meet dimensional accuracy, quality, and functional requirements.
• Collaborate with manufacturing, production, and quality teams to resolve design-related issues.
• Review designs for manufacturability, assembly, and inspection requirements.

Required Skills

• Hands-on experience with CATIA V5.
• Strong knowledge of fixture design principles.
• Good understanding of GD&T and engineering drawings.
• Experience in mechanical design and 3D modelling.
• Ability to understand design specifications and manufacturing requirements.

Good to Have

• Experience in checking fixture design.
• Knowledge of inspection fixtures and dimensional measurement requirements.
• Exposure to automotive or manufacturing industry projects.

Candidate Requirements

• Overall experience: 25 years.
• Relevant fixture design experience: 1–2 years preferred.
• Work location: Bengaluru.
