About this role
Job Title: Fitter Pump Assembly & Fitting
Salary: 20,000 35,000 per month
Experience: 15 years preferred
Roles & Responsibilities
- Pump assembly, dismantling, fitting, and maintenance.
- Fitting of shafts, bearings, mechanical seals, couplings, and impellers.
- Pump alignment and checking of clearances and measurements.
- Identify and rectify mechanical fitting issues.
- Perform installation and servicing at customer sites when required.
- Use fitting tools and measuring instruments safely.
- Follow safety and quality standards.
- Coordinate with engineers/supervisors for timely completion of work.
Preferred Candidate Profile
- ITI Fitter / Mechanical trade preferred.
- 1–5 years of experience in pump assembly or mechanical fitting.
- Good knowledge of pumps and mechanical components.
- Basic knowledge of drawings, measurements, and fitting tools.
- Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Willing to travel to customer/remote sites as required.
- Safety-conscious and team-oriented.
