Fiserv Developer - AML Solutions

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Fiserv AML Developer to design, develop, and support Anti-Money Laundering (AML) solutions that enable effective transaction monitoring, risk detection, regulatory compliance, and financial crime prevention.

The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in AML platforms, SQL development, data analysis, and financial services compliance requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy AML solutions to identify suspicious transactions, unusual customer behavior, and potential financial crime risks.
• Develop and optimize complex SQL queries, procedures, and data models for transaction monitoring and risk assessment.
• Build and maintain AML rules, scenarios, alerts, and detection mechanisms aligned with regulatory requirements and business needs.
• Collaborate with compliance, risk, fraud, and technology teams to enhance AML monitoring capabilities.
• Develop data pipelines and data processing workflows to analyze large volumes of transactional and customer data.
• Support AML investigations by providing analytical insights and reporting capabilities.
• Ensure compliance with AML regulations, internal policies, and industry standards.
• Perform system enhancements, troubleshooting, performance tuning, and production support activities.
• Participate in AML platform implementations, upgrades, migrations, and optimization initiatives.
• Prepare technical documentation, reporting frameworks, and audit-related deliverables.
• Work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into scalable AML technology solutions.
  
  

Required Skills & Experience

• 6-15 years of experience in AML technology, AML development, or financial crime compliance systems.
• Strong expertise in SQL development and complex query optimization.
• Experience designing and implementing transaction monitoring and AML solutions.
• Strong understanding of :
• Anti-Money Laundering (AML)
• KYC/CDD Processes
• Financial Crime Compliance
• Transaction Monitoring
• Regulatory Reporting
• Experience working with large datasets and data analysis frameworks.
• Exposure to Big Data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, or similar platforms.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving capabilities.
• Experience working with banking, financial services, fintech, or payments organizations.
  
  

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Fiserv AML solutions or related financial crime platforms.
• Knowledge of sanctions screening, fraud monitoring, and risk management systems.
• Exposure to cloud-based data platforms and analytics solutions.
• Experience with ETL tools, data warehousing, and reporting frameworks.
