Job Title: Firmware Tester

Location: Hyderabad

Duration: 12 Months Contract

• We are looking for someone with proficient knowledge of Linux and computer architecture as well as knowledge of server industry firmware initiatives such as PCIe, ACPI, UEFI, and JEDEC memory standards, the candidate will provide the first level of triage for each issue and interface with engineers to assist in reproduction and closure. ARM experience is preferred but not required with a strong x86 architecture background.
• A candidate with good debug methodology and some experience in scripting languages (PERL, Python, Ruby) and programming languages (C++/Assembly).
• Test methodologies and subsystems knowledge in 10/100/1G Ethernet, SATA, AHCI, DDR3, PCIe Gen1/Gen2, SPI, I2C BIOS/Firmware interfaces (UEFI/ACPI/SMBIOS). Optional but preferred experience in ARM, scripting and coding languages.
• Experience with QA hardware tools oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, multimeters, test fixtures.
