About this role
We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Fire Pump Operator to join our team at Sodexo Food Solutions India Pvt. Ltd. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in fire safety and operations, with excellent technical skills and attention to detail.
Roles and Responsibility
- Operate and maintain fire pumps and related equipment to ensure proper functioning.
- Monitor and control water supply systems to prevent overuse or waste.
- Conduct regular inspections of fire hydrants and other emergency equipment to ensure they are in good condition.
- Respond to emergency situations and provide first aid when necessary.
- Collaborate with other teams to develop and implement fire safety procedures.
- Maintain accurate records of fire drills, training sessions, and emergency response activities.
Job Requirements
- Proven experience as a Fire Pump Operator or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of fire safety principles, practices, and regulations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure and respond to emergencies effectively.
- Familiarity with fire safety equipment and technology.
- Ability to lift heavy objects and stand for long periods.
