Experience: 10+ years
Qualification: Bachelors Degree in Fire Engineering
Function: Fire Engineering / FLS Consultancy
We are looking for an experienced Fire Protection Engineer to develop fire-engineering solutions, prepare fire strategies, and ensure compliance with NFPA standards and applicable authority requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop Fire Engineering Strategies and FLS reports.
- Conduct means-of-egress and evacuation analysis.
- Review fire compartmentation and fire separation.
- Develop smoke-control and smoke-management strategies.
- Support performance-based fire-engineering solutions where required.
- Review architectural and MEP drawings for fire-safety compliance.
- Coordinate with architects, developers, consultants, and contractors.
- Review shop drawings, material submittals, and technical calculations.
- Support site inspections, testing, commissioning, and final authority approvals.
- Identify fire-safety risks and recommend mitigation measures.
Candidate Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Fire Engineering.
- Minimum 10 years of Fire & Life Safety consultancy experience.
- Strong knowledge of NFPA 101, NFPA 13, NFPA 14, NFPA 20, NFPA 72, and related standards.
- Strong fire-engineering and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD.
- Experience with performance-based design is an advantage.
- Professional certifications such as CFPS, IFE, or NFPA certifications are advantageous.
- Experience in high-rise and complex developments preferred.
