Finops Engineer

Job Summary

We are looking for a FinOps Engineer to drive cloud financial management, cost optimization, governance, and operational excellence across public cloud environments. The ideal candidate will work closely with engineering, finance, and business teams to optimize cloud spend, improve cost visibility, and implement FinOps best practices across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor, analyze, and optimize cloud infrastructure costs across AWS, Azure, and/or GCP.
• Develop and maintain cloud cost reporting, dashboards, and forecasting models.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and drive cloud efficiency initiatives.
• Implement tagging, chargeback/showback, and cost allocation strategies.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to optimize resource utilization and cloud architecture.
• Define cloud governance policies and ensure compliance with organizational standards.
• Automate cloud cost monitoring, budgeting, and reporting processes.
• Support financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting for cloud expenditures.
• Conduct cloud spend reviews and present recommendations to stakeholders.
• Work with Cloud Operations, DevOps, SRE, Finance, Procurement, and Leadership teams.
