Key Responsibilities
- Monitor analyse and report cloud expenditure across AWS Azure and GCP environments
- Develop and implement cloud cost optimisation strategies to improve efficiency and reduce unnecessary spend
- Define and enforce cost allocation frameworks tagging standards and cloud financial governance policies
- Collaborate with engineering operations finance and business teams to optimise cloud resource utilisation
- Create dashboards and reports to monitor cloud cost KPIs spending trends forecasts and optimisation opportunities
- Analyse Reserved Instances RI Savings Plans and cloud pricing models to maximise cost savings and resource efficiency
- Drive chargeback and showback initiatives across business units
- Perform cloud cost forecasting budgeting and variance analysis
- Identify wastage idle resources and optimisation opportunities and recommend corrective actions
- Support cloud financial planning and FinOps maturity initiatives across the organisation
- Automate cloud cost reporting and governance processes using scripting and cloudnative tools
